Introduction：

“Magpies and Lotuses in Summer” is a painting carefully created using techniques of Chinese claborate-style painting. It depicts a vivid scene of two magpies jumping, talking, and playing in the lotus pond. The inspiration for this painting came from a sunny day. When the artist was walking by the lotus pond, she felt relaxed and happy because of the beautiful scenery in front of her, so she came up with the idea of creating a painting full of freshness and joy.

The primary color of the painting is green, using rich color combinations, breaking the single ink color expression technique of traditional Chinese brush painting and showing a lively and happy atmosphere. In the painting, the artist chose to use light and elegant colors as the primary colors to show the beautiful scenery of the lotus flowers and lotus leaves swaying in the wind as the breeze blows across the lotus pond and to emphasize the visual transparency so that the viewer can feel the freshness and purity.

The fine lines in the work depict every detail in the lotus pond, and the layers of color create a strong three-dimensional sense, making the lotus appear clean and light, full of the rhythm of life. 《鵲躍語夏蓮》是以工筆手法精心創作的畫作，描繪了兩隻喜鵲在蓮花池中跳躍、對話與嬉戲的生動場景。這幅畫作的靈感來自於一個風和日麗的日子，書畫家在蓮花池邊散步時，因眼前的美景感到心曠神怡，遂萌生創作一幅充滿清新與喜悅之感的作品的念頭。
