關於吳培基

書法家吳培基主張藉由現代的書寫工具「硬筆」之便利性和實用性，來認識中華文字之美，進而進入中華傳統毛筆書法藝術世界。近年來致力於硬筆書法及小楷毛筆的分享與推廣。

Introduction：

Taiwanese hard-nib calligrapher Wu Pei-Chi used “The Thousand-Character Classic” as the theme to reinterpret this work that has been passed down through the ages. It is a tribute to traditional calligraphy culture and an innovative attempt at the art of writing. The characteristics of the hard nib are used to express the “fine strokes” of the font by “gently lifting the hard nib,” showing a delicate and elegant style. In addition to retaining the elegance and agility of traditional regular script, it adds the precision and delicacy of modern hard-nib writing techniques, reflecting the blend of new and old, tradition and modernity.

“The Thousand-Character Classic” consists of a thousand non-repetitive Chinese characters, with gorgeous diction and elegant sentences. It is a model from which later calligraphers can learn, and it is also the first textbook for Chinese-speaking students to learn calligraphy. hard-nib calligraphy is simpler and easier to understand than brush calligraphy. You only need a piece of paper and a pen to start practicing, allowing beginners to access the art of Chinese characters more easily.

Wu Pei-Chi wrote “The Thousand-Character Classic” through hard-nib calligraphy. Every stroke in the work carries profound cultural connotations and artistic styles, allowing the audience to feel the beauty of the words and understand the similarities and differences between classical and modern writing. Through this work, hard-nib calligraphy is promoted to audiences worldwide, allowing the audience to understand that hard-nib calligraphy is not only an introductory way to learn calligraphy but also helps stimulate people’s interest in the art of calligraphy to spread the connotation of Chinese characters widely.

 

作品介紹：

台灣硬筆書法家吳培基以《千字文》為題材，重新演繹這篇千古傳誦的作品，是對傳統書法文化的一種致敬，也是對文字藝術的一次創新嘗試。運用硬筆特性，以「輕提筆多於重壓」手法來表現字體的「細線條」，展現出清秀、雋雅風格，保有傳統楷書的飄逸與靈動之外，增加現代硬筆筆法的精準與細膩，體現出新與舊、傳統與現代交融。

《千字文》由一千個不重複的漢字組成，文辭華美，語句優雅，為後世書法家臨摹的範本，也是華語學生入門書法的第一篇教材。硬筆書法較毛筆書法簡便易學，不需筆、墨、紙、硯等較為繁瑣的傳統工具，只需一張紙與一支筆便能開始練習，讓初學者以更輕鬆方式接觸中華文字藝術。
